Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan to share screen again

After working in Karan Johar’s unconventional emotional saga Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna way back in 2006, the two stars will be sharing screen space in Zoya Akhtar’s forthcoming film.Those who went to catch  Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna -Karan Johar’s take on extra-marital love equation- primarily swarmed the theatres to watch Shahrukh Khan. Though the film had the commanding presence of Amitabh Bachchan and also featured Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta, not many really went to see Abhishek Bachchan’s execrable dance moves or his average acting skills. Anushka to plays just an extended cameo in SRK's movie

For those people who thought that Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif’s upcoming untitled romantic film revolved around the love story between Kat, SRK and Anushka Sharma, here’s a myth buster.Anushka will plays just an extended cameo in the film. A little birdie has chirped to us that Anushka agreed to play second fiddle because Aditya Chopra convinced her to do the role.

 Anushka’s role is being modeled on that of Rani Mukerji in Veer-Zaara. Anushka plays a very attentive character in the film. She makes an entry only in the second half. It is quite surprising to know that the 23-year-old, who was appreciated for her acting skills in lead roles in Rab Ne Band Di Jodi and Band Baaja Baaraat, has agreed to play a not so extensive part.

Anushka was a bit hesitant to play the role initially, but she could not say no to the offer from the banner that made her the star that she is today. It was Yash Raj Films that launched Anushka by casting her opposite Shahrukh Khan and also gave her meaty roles in delicious films like Band Baaja Baaraat and Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl. Priyanka Chopra doesn’t want to discuss SRK anymore

Priyanka Chopra, who hardly ever ducked questions with the usual ‘no comments’ statement, seems to have decided to not comment on any question related to Shahrukh Khan. In fact, the actor has started to get irked when a question on the King Khan is squeezed in by the media.

Recently, when a journo asked her about her link up with the Baadshah Khan, Priyanka chose to keep mum. “By being extremely loud, doesn’t mean I’ll answer your questions. Thank You,” replied the 29-year-old actor. It is said that PC’ extreme closeness with Shahrukh irked Shahrukh’s wife Gauri and since then a very powerful circle of star wives have been plotting and bitching about the actor. When she was asked about this by a reporter, Priyanka chose to look the other way.

Clearly, Priyanka simply wants to refrain from talking about of her once-flourishing-friendship with the man she admired the most. At another do that took place about a week ago, a reporter asked Priyanka if Shahrukh still makes her blush, a fact that was captured by cameras on Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee with Karan a couple of years ago, but PC now says she hasn’t said anything of that sort. Now, come on Priyanka! Should we show you the recorded copy of the TV show?

And just like Priyanka, Shahrukh too is has decided to go completely mum on the matter. We wish the two could just come clean on the issue and put an end to the controversy (even though we would lose out on a lot of drama that has kept us going for the last few months). But surely there is more to it than what meets the eye.
